Are you Smarter(er) than me?

I've been busy, busy, busy with school and work, and even though I have been able to read for pleasure I haven't really been able to keep up with my wonderful followers. Almost done with school (graduating in December) and the Babychu is about to turn two (time flies). Crazy how life goes huh?

But I came across something pretty neat that I wanted to share with you all. There is a website, called BzzAgent, that is all about word-of-mouth marketing. As part of one of their campaigns, I joined a website called Smarterer. And let me tell you, it's pretty awesome.

On Smarterer, you can take all kinds of tests to test your knowledge on almost anything. Want to see if you are the master of Facebook? Go for it. Need a way to prove to your boss that you really are as good on Excel as you say? Get to it! There is a test for all kinds of things. And the best part is that you have a say in the questions. If you think a question doesn't really fit the test, or maybe the answer is wrong, you can give feedback about it. You can also thumbs-up good questions, and even submit your own or create your own entire test.

What makes this different than other fun quiz-taking sites is that the community controls the questions, not just one person. Gone are the days of creating a phony test so you appear to be an expert in, say, Hungarian Historical Children's Literature. With the ability to have a say on what questions are appropriate to the topic or which need to go, Smarterer tests are rating your abilities in a new, unique, and fair way.

Though I may be a BzzAgent and asked to give me opinion, my honest opinion is that this is a really neat up-and-coming site. One test I like in particular was the Children's Literature test. Not only does it ask questions about different beloved children's stories, but the questions vary from classic children's literature to questions about Harry Potter. But the best thing of all? It asks about the Caldecott and Newbury awards and what they are for. That impressed me, though I must admit I missed those questions.

I hope you'll take some time to check this awesome site out too! I'm still undecided about taking the Hunger Games test, but it just keeps calling my name. Come on over to Smarterer and find out if you are Smarterer than me!
